Catch up time for October...

NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) from Munson Hospital where Caelan was holds a reunion every few years.  All the nurses come up and families from about a five year window are invited.  We go up there each year on Caelan's birthday anyway to see folks but it was really neat to be able to see all of them and hang out to chat for a while!  We still have a LOT of love for all these wonderful folks who took such amazing care of our son!

Anna was in town from Petoskey to visit that day and went with us to the reunion

(above) Beth-  she wasn't one of Caelan's actual nurses but she lives down the street from us and works in NICU

Mary wasn't there- she was one of his main nurses and we loved her.  We haven't seen her in a long time :(

Then we went to the pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin.  The place we usually go to has moved and so it wasn't nearly as fun but it was still ok....

A couple weeks later we made our annual trip to the Corn Maze- this year we went with Danielle and her husband Jeremy (in town from military for a few weeks), Cameron, and baby Eli!

Heading in!

Four adults in the maze.... fortunately two of them know how to read a map!  (Jeremy and I would have been lost without Matt and Danielle!)

Not the greatest picture of them because the sun is shining right in their faces but... that's Danielle, her husband Jeremy, son Cameron, and bundled up in the carrier there is baby Eli

 Happy boys!

 punkins!

another great day!!

**  Danielle's husband Jeremy is currently deployed to Afghanistan-  he was home for a few weeks in August and October but is overseas until the end of this summer (August or September?).  Please keep him in your prayers-  for his safety and return home, and for her as she is missing him and raising the two boys by herself!  (Her parents are here... and she has ME of course!!)   Prayerful support is GREATLY appreciated!
